| Volunteer will assist with managing and improving the volunteer program which may include, but is not limited to the following activities; recruiting volunteers, conducting new volunteer orientation, maintaining online volunteer listings, keeping and updating volunteer records, improving volunteer recognition program, maintaining contact with volunteers, helping to manage volunteers during special events, tracking volunteer attendance at events to ensure appropriate thank-yous are sent, assisting with planning a recognition event. Skills needed, but not required: Computer literacy (word, excel, internet, email) skilled in and comfortable with public speaking, attention to detail, experience working with, managing, training and recognizing volunteers.
